Since 1981 he has been working on the different possibilities of employing office and industrial photo-copy equipments in fine art.
In Jenő Lévay's art individual drawing and reproductive processes are equally emphasised. What is typical of both of the trends is the producing of planned situations, processes and the extension of the piece of graphic art into space and time.
He initiated the establishment of Transfer Point Fund in 1994. Its aim is to make an artistic use of the remained building of Danube Ropeway Loading Dock that functioned between 1927 and 1963. The building is standing isolated and aimlessly in the bed of the river Danube has been transubstantiated into an imaginary Palace of Culturral Stock Exchange by Jenő Lévay.
